Original: Pantera [1991]

You can’t be something you’re not

This has to be one of my favorite covers of all time, in fact the only reason why I know the lyrics to this song it’s because of the cover and let me tell you what a great message it has. Avenged Sevenfold took the dutty to make a tribute to one of their influential bands Pantera and I honestly believe the result came off as an striking track that punches you in the face. Of course, Pantera being a part of the triforce of metal, which is regularly consisting of Megadeth-Metallica-Pantera [order may differ depending on any metal-head].

Their cover maintains very faithful to the original one, of course the latter having that 90’s-metal vibe all over it, A7X turn into a bigger monster, if that’s even possible. To me, it sound’s louder, stronger, with M. Shadows doing a perfect work with his voice and The Rev’s drumming making justice.

I hope you guys like this cover as much as I do!
